My fee for a standard 50-minute consult is $225. You do not need a referral or mental health diagnosis to attend, you can contact me directly by phone on 0498 335 317 or email mdoherty.psychology@outlook.com to organise an appointment.

You may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session, for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year, as part of a Mental Health Treatment Plan. If you wish to access Medicare rebates you will need a referral from a GP or psychiatrist.

Rebates may be available from private health insurance, depending on your insurer and individual cover. Please contact your health insurance provider for information on what they will cover. You will need to claim any rebates directly with your insurer after the session, following payment of the session. Please note that you cannot use your private health insurance if you are claiming a Medicare rebate for the session.  

I am registered with SIRA to provide psychological services under the Workers Compensation and CTP schemes.

I welcome referrals for clients covered by QPS, DVA, Access Plus, BUPA ADF and NDIS (self-managed or plan managed). Please discuss this with me when you first make contact.

If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment please give at least 48 hours’ notice. Scheduled sessions not cancelled with 48 hours’ notice or more will be charged in full. You can cancel your appointment by contacting me by phone on 0498 335 317. Please note that Medicare do not provide rebates for late cancellations. In the case where your session fees are covered by another third party provider that does not cover late cancellation fees, this cost may be charged directly to you. 

I see clients both face to face and via telehealth. Please enquire as to whether telehealth is an appropriate option for you.
